Tapijt ontworpen door Jaap Gidding in de stijl van Tuschinkski

Een ontwerp van dit tapijt bevindt zich in het textielmuseum in Tilburg. Een kleiner stuk met hetzelfde motief maar met andere kleuren werd in 1979 door het Rijksmuseum aan-gekocht en ondergebracht onder BK-1979-36. Het ontwerp van dit tapijt, Silma 5012 werd grotendeels machinaal geproduceerd in de Koninklijke Vereenigde Tapijtfabrieken (Deventer), in tegenstelling tot dit exemplaar dat handgeknoopt werd.

Hij was actief als tekenaar, schilder, glasschilder, wand-schilder, decoratieschilder (van interieurs), keramist, edelsmid, sieraadontwerper, interieurontwerper, monumentaal kunstenaar, textielkunstenaar, en vervaardiger van mozaïek.
